Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
TuneZoo is a radio station directory. There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no profiles — everything on the site is public and anonymous.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share data with third parties.
What stays on your device
Your starred stations, language preference, and recently played list are stored only in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device and we never see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Server logs
Like any web server, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for a short period to operate the service and diagnose abuse. These logs are not used for tracking or profiling and are not shared.
Playing a station
When you press play, your browser connects directly to that station's own streaming server — TuneZoo does not proxy or record audio. That station operator (not TuneZoo) may log your connection under their own privacy practices. We also send a one-off, anonymous “click” count to the underlying Radio Browser directory to keep station popularity data accurate; it contains no information about you.
Third-party data source
Station listings come from the open Radio Browser community project. See their site for how they handle data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
